Build week 3 & 4 + other stuff

The build has gone well, with the roof mostly on and the electrics ready to wire in.

Other news, my course is ending in two Tuesdays time, and I may be able to finish it, with 15 criteria still to fullfill. Really hard at the moment to settle myself to do any of it.
Which brings me to Julie and Charlotte. Charlott spent the day sick, wit a mild lyronitus (sorry for spelling) and Julie is at the stage where she just wants the baby out. Too much going on.
We had Alex and Christine round last night for tea. Charlotte is really taken by Alex, and did her best to impress him. While we basicly ignored the fact that they arrives, she led him in by the hand, and showed how well she culd eat her tea (getting to be a trial at times normally). Cute to see, especially since he is a trojan skin head. But Charlotte did do the washing up.

MP3

I'm having a lot of fun finding free MP3 stuff on the web. I like to listen to talk stuff, instead of muic, which is less restrictive with copyright.
AltaVista lets you search specificly for MP3 files, so I have been looking.
There are sites that I cannot get working on my machine. I do not know how to work xml sites, and the BBC works on my computer, but not my mp3 player. Odd.
But there is still plenty out there.
Max Lucado and Tony Compolo sites both give talks for my walks, and found Rob parsons talk at Salt and ight ministries, as well as many other talks by other speakers. These are good quality stuff, but Audio Treasures mp3 Bible is a bit rough in production quailty.
Other rough sites are Audio Books For Free, which has an extensive range of older books, and you can buy better quality recordings, and Free-book sound as if Steven Hawkings sister has provided the voice, but old classics. Kiddie Records has the same quality, but with sometimes strange kids stories.
You expect Old Time Radio Programmes to be poor quality, but it has surprised me so far. Old American radio show, like the Bob Hope show, but mainly obscure shows, in differing genre.

I am compelled with Darker projects, just because they do some Dr Who stories. Not the best acting, but I get my fix.

The gem is PseudoCertainty. Two guys who sit and talk about what conspiricy therioes are out there, and then tear them to shreads. If you ever wanted to slap someone who says the moonlandings were a hoax, or Prince Philip killed Diana, then these are the guys to do it for you.

If you find and better mp3 downloads, let me know.

Garage build wk1

This should be a 5 week build, and the builders seem keen to get it built in that time. They started on Tuesday, on a very wet day, and contuinued to get foundations dug duing a wet week. I am a bit worried that the concrete wont set, but then I am a youth worker, not a builder.
Day 1

Day 2

Day 3

Day 4

With just 5 weeks to go before the due date for Jr2 (14 June), Julie is now being sick again. We hope the garage is finished before the birth, so every thing can be that bit more ready.
