The Joy of Shopping
Today we got the family shopping in. This is one of the highlights of the family week, filled with as much fun as a 21 moth old can handle. While Julie uses her list making power to do the actual shopping. Charlotte and I go through three stages.
1- Running around the shop like mad things.

When Charlotte runs, you can imagine 'road to Amarillo' playing in her mind. Also included in the itinery is picking up odd objects from the shelves,
and waiting for grannies to say 'what a lovely boy' (for some strange reason, old people, and mainly old men, seem to think that every baby and toddler is a boy, despite any evidence to the contrary, including wearing pink dresses).
2- Up on daddies shoulders, leaving daddy with a sweaty neck, atleast I think it was sweat.
3- In the trolley for spins and the odd treat.
Today was our 5th wedding anniversary, and to celebrate we went out for lunch. Charlotte got a balloon on the way out, and then while Julie held the balloon, Charlotte ran away from her around the car park shouting 'I am not a number'. She slept on the way back.
Tonight Julie and I tried to watch ocean's 12 (part of our anniversary gift to eachother). Unfortunately, Julie got lost in the plot after the first 15 minutes, wondering when the minis were going to come into it.

Happy anniversary!! Man, in some ways this is the fastest 5years ever. In other ways it seems like you've been married forever. Take from that what you will.
I love that Charlotte is the prisoner in Tescos. Hehehe

Ok, aside from wishing you an EXTREMELY belated happy anniversary I want to ask you...what on EARTH have you been making Charlotte watch?

Does Charlotte have some sort of tag on her ear in that last picture? Can you press it to make her sleep?

Belated congrats Julie and Mark. We're coming up to 15 on Thurs and still dithering what to do. I bought Rog an excellent card; I've just got to get the courage to blog it now! Charlotte looks very cute and excitable; I'm sure my 7 and 9 year old could make it worse!

3- Caroline, it means she is a collectors item.
