Weddings, wee'uns and Eugenes
The past couple of weeks have been busy with the course, work and family, but you are probably sick of all that.
We went to see John and Jo and their first child Andrew (sorry no pics). Charlotte did enjoy seeing the baby, and held his hand.
Last Wednesday was Alex and Christines wedding, the only one where the groom nearly out dressed the bride. I was best man. It is odd the way people will ask 'did it go well?'. They got married, after that there isn't much that can go very wrong without appearing in the papers or on You've been framed. I always find the partys difficult because you try to speak to people and end up not hearing them. Julie and I did dance some of the night away, and talked the rest.
We did get a visit from some guests all the way from Eugene, Oregon. Anna was a room mate of Julies at Queens (she is from Ballymena) and K is her USA hubby. I like it when you meet up with friends after years and you still get on. The humour and personalities click. I have a few friends that this happens to.
